Part of the miniature collection on display at Delgado Museum. These particular miniatures are believed to have been painted by Gilbert Stuart. Three negatives are of Harriet Orme, daughter of Bridget Orme and Perkins Nichols. She died at the age of twenty-four. Another three are of George W. Embree who was born in 1807. Another three are of Mary Ann Nichols who was born in 1801. The miniatures are the property of Mrs. James Rainey of 1337 Pine Street. |
