These photographs were separated from the records of the process that produced 1929 Comprehensive Zoning Law. Included are images of the area near South Carrollton Avenue and Willow Street, various properties along the New Basin Canal, properties owned by the Shreveport Oil Company, and properties in the Vieux Carre. For a description of that process, and of the relationship of these images to that process, click HERE.
Additional photographs relating to the Commission and its activities are available elsewhere in the Louisiana Photograph Collection. Link HERE to find them (search for "City Planning Commission" photograph). Specifically, see the Walter Cook Keenan collection.
