| President Taft, along with members from the U.S. Congress, arrived in New Orleans for the Great Waterways Convention held October 30th to November 2nd, 1909. Also in attendance, were political representatives from all of the waterway states -- the Grey Eagle carried members of the Kansas City delegation.
