| The steamboat in the background, the Oleander, carried President Taft down the Mississippi from St. Louis to attend the great Waterways Convention, sponsered by the Lakes-to-the-Gulf Deep Waterways Association, held in New Orleans from October 30th to November 2nd. In the foreground is the steamboat carrying the Missouri delegation.
