Taken during a test evacuation of heavy equipment over three of our evacuation routes described in the New Orleans Metropolitan Target Area Survival Plan. About 250 vehicles participated in these tests, which were conducted for the purposes of training personnel, educating the public in Civil Defense operations, and testing communications facilities.
