In October 1999 we began a series of "Recent Additions to the Louisiana Division Photograph Collection." Some of these additions are individual photographs or groups of photographs newly donated to the Division. Others, though, have actually been around for years, and have either been dislocated from their original places within the collection or were otherwise "in limbo." The "Recent Additions" artificial series--which might more properly be titled "Miscellaneous Photographs"--if nothing else provides a means for us to make the individual images accessible to researchers.

The dozen "Recent Additions" featured in this month's images gallery are taken from the twelve "folders" of photographs added to the series since last November. They range in date of origin from 1890 to the beginning of the 21st century. We hope you find something of interest among them. If you would like to see more of the "Recent Additions," click HERE.
