Images of the Month Gallery
The Louisiana Division's Rare Vertical File contains more than 75 business cards, most of them from the period around 1900. Then, as now, these cards were used as a form of advertisement by individuals and businesses. These days, they also give us a glimpse into the varied commercial life of the city in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. |
