LSU v. Auburn Football Game. November 1941. Parade of cadets before game.

On November 15, 1941, LSU played Auburn at Tiger Stadium to a 7-7 tie. "Perhaps we can blame the outcome of the Auburn game," LSU's Gumbo yearbook said, "on the fact that the field was crowded with assorted high school bands, drum majors and majorettes, and cadets of all shapes and sizes. When the smoke from the artillery had lifted and we saw what had occurred there were 22 Auburn and LSU Tigers running around and looking very discouraged, if not confused."
