Reverend Gallus and Sisters Antoinette and Alma. St. Joseph's Abbey, 11/18/41.

St. Joseph Abbey, at St. Benedict, near Covington, was established by the monks of the St. Benedictine Order in 1902. Today, the Abbey is an undergraduate seminary and also operates a summer camp and a Christian Life Center, along with other programs.

Father Gallus Anderau, a Swiss, was one of the early monks of Saint Joseph Abbey. The two nuns are Blessed Sacrament Sisters from a small convent across the river from the abbey. Sister Antoinette is on the right and Sister Alma on the left.
