| The photograph's caption identifies the block as the "Woods [i.e., lake] side of Decatur
between Governor Nichols and Ursuline Street." Specifically, the photograph shows (behind the horses!) the 1100
block of Decatur, a row of ten three-story brick structures forming a continuous facade. Today, the block houses shops
and several restaurants, including the (recently defunct) G&E Courtyard Grill at 1115 and Maximo's Italian Grill at
1117.
