Perspective View of the Rock Creek Bridge
(December 1907)

The feature article in the December 1907 issue dealt with "The Largest Concrete Bridge in the World"--the Rock Creek Bridge in Washington, D.C. Work on the span began in 1897 and was completed in 1907. Since there are a number of bridges over Rock Creek, this one is usually referred to as the Connecticut Avenue Bridge or the William H. Taft Bridge.
