The Memory Market Branch, 515 S. Lopez, at the corner of Tulane Ave. Like a number of Canal Bank branches, it took its name from a public market nearby. This building (its style reminiscent of NOPL's Alvar and Gentilly Branch Libraries) stands abandoned today. The grill work on the front window survives. (Note: For some reason, the book value is even lower than its assessed value, and we wonder if there is an error in the values given).
