The Burgundy Branch, 2001 Burgundy St., corner Touro. Over the years this building has had a variety of uses. It housed a doctor's office and for a time it was the Baker's Union hall. It even hosted wedding receptions. Currently, it is under renovation for an art gallery and private residence. Neighborhood legend (which, unfortunately, has no basis in fact) says that this bank was robbed by the infamous Bonnie and Clyde!
