Horticultural Hall in Audubon Park, from the Park's 1900 Yearbook. Horticultural Hall was built as part of the World's Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exhibition in 1884 and was one of the few structures to survive the end of the exhibition. It did not, however, survive the great hurricane of 1915! The Yearbook describes the building as "probably one of the largest structures devoted to horticulture in the country."
