Silver Dew

"The allegory ... was one of the prettiest. It represented a bright flame on the summit of a hill with triple point towards the sky. In the legend a bird, all white, is supposed to fly up to the gods and dispense pleasant notes and scatter rays from this fair fire and myriad of bright beams which give forth a silver dew and quench the flames "that it, which erst so pleasant scent did yield, of nothing now but noxious sulphur smell'd"."
