Enjoying some open space in the French Quarter.
Inside Edison Place, March, 1979. This park opened in 1977 on the site of an old New Orleans Public Service substation in the 300 block of Bourbon Street. It served as a resting place for Street-weary tourists. The park has been closed and reopened several times during the last twenty-five years. Lately there has been talk of a renovation for this rare Vieux Carre open space.
