This impressive residential building at 1417 Annunciation Street was involved in a 1957 request to reclassify a portion of the square bounded by Annunciation, Terpsichore, Constance and Euterpe from Multiple Family Residential to Light Industrial. The request was denied by the Council on recommendation of the Planning Commission. Subsequent to that decision, however, the structure disappeared from the city's landscape. The site is now occupied by a far less attractive apartment building.
