The Louisiana Library Connection Databases are made available through the State Library of Louisiana. NOPL patrons (and visitors) may use the databases in house. For remote access, users must have a library card with a public library in the state of Louisiana.

The online version of Booklist, a journal, published by the American Library Association, designed to assist librarians in choosing books to buy and in recommending books to their patrons. Booklist Online provides thousands of reviews, dating back as far as 1992. ALA has generously provided a year's free subscription to NOPL for this database.
