Manuscript statements by individuals of their intentions to change their domiciles to Orleans Parish. In most cases the statements also identify the place of previous domicile. Each declaration is signed by the individual and is also endorsed by the parish judge.

Included among these documents is the declaration of Achille Murat changing his domicile from East Baton Rouge Parish to Orleans in 1840.
