Also included is a letter, dated March 1846, from James H. Dakin to Thomas Sloo regarding completion of the church structure.

Third District Court 3297 J. C. Prendergast vs P. O. Reilly 1851 Testimony taken on rules of Edward Laverty (witness for the defendant), bookkeeper for the Orleanian newspaper, on the paper's financial condition. Part of the "Miscellaneous Documents" sub-series 19 11b
Third District Court 5234 In the matter of the New Orleans Draining Co. praying for the homologation of a tableaux, etc. 1853 The suit originated in Parish Court #16794. This is an eighty-seven page printed transcript of the evidence addressed on trial of the opposition to the matter. Included is detailed testimony regarding construction of canals and draining machines. The docket number 3549 also appears on the item, probably indicating an appeal to the Louisiana Supreme Court or a related matter.
