New Orleans (La.) Historic District Landmarks Commission Surveys and Photographs
This is a large collection of slides taken by staff of the HDLC over the course of 30 years. These slides were created by staff at the HDLC for use by the staff or the Commission.
The nature of the slides varies greatly. Some images will simply show the exterior of a structure while others may focus on the details of the exterior such as the gates.
The slides are organized in the Detailed Inventory by address. Also included is a group of ca. 750 staff slides for which no identifying information was available on the slides themselves. In the inventory, these are labeled as "Unidentified Slides."
A number of the slides were organized by HDLC staff into groupings; slides that were not assigned to a grouping by HDLC staff have been included in the Miscellaneous group by the processing archivist. The groupings are listed below and are inlcuded in the "Series Notes" column of the Inventory.
