City Archives New Orleans Public Library |
New Orleans (La.) City Council Utility regulatory records, 1956-1995 Most of these records were transferred to the City Archives by the Clerk of Council in 1999. Some came as part of the public review process for regular filings with the Council. The inventory below is arranged in chronological order with undated documents listed in no particular order at the end. Most of the records are from the period prior to 1985 and are undocketed. Documents dating from 1986 and later are identified by their assigned docket numbers if those docket numbers appear on the individual file folders. Records from dockets CD85-1, CD86-11, UD91-1, and UD91-2 are arranged in separate series (because of the disarray of some of the transferred materials, however, some documents from those dockets are included in the present inventory). Additional materials are filed in Records relating to New Orleans Public Service, Inc. (NOPSI)/Louisiana Power and Light Co. (LP&,L), 1978-1986. There are several boxes of records that were transferred without folders, formal titles, or other filing indications. These are being kept uninventoried in a series of boxes marked "Loose Papers." Ask an archivist for information in accessing those materials. Inventory Undated materials appear at the end of the inventory. |
