The Friends of NOPL have commissioned local artist Thomas Mann to create this fleur de lis pin in support of the FNOPL Restoration Fund Drive. Each pin is hand-made and one-of-a-kind. Proceeds of the sale benefit the FNOPL's efforts to REBUILD New Orleans Public Library.

In the past, the Friends have lent our support by sponsoring programs and purchasing equipment for the library. However, financial support is now the Library's greatest need. NOPL will receive monies from traditional disaster relief sources, but these funds will not begin to cover all our rebuilding costs. At our first "post-Katrina" board meeting, the Friends resolved to raise funds to help fill in the gaps, wherever they may occur.
The initial goal we've set for our RESTORATION FUND is $150,000. We can meet this goal with your help. Please join us in REBUILDING THE NEW ORLEANS PUBLIC LIBRARY!
