BOOKMARK CONTEST Children's Book Week 2008 During Children's Book Week, NOPL sponsored a bookmark contest that invited kids from pre-K through High School to create a black & white bookmark. Nearly 600 kids from 33 schools and home schools entered their artwork, and, with difficulty, the judges chose six as winners -- three from the 11 and under age group and three from ages 12-18. The winning designs will be printed as "real" bookmarks and distributed to NOPL patrons. On this page, you can see the winning designs. In fact, though, we think EVERY bookmark submitted was a winner. Click on the bookmark to see a larger version.
