Scrapbook Workshop
October 20, 2007

On October 20, 2007, the African American Resource Center presented a scrapbook workshop at the Main Library. Library Associate Greer Rolland gave an informative lecture on the history of scrapbooking before demonstrating ways in which to preserve family photos and memorabilia.

Participants listen as Rolland discusses the importance of scrapbooking.

Greer Rolland shows participants a Christmas album she created based on the "Night Before Christmas" at her home. Following the presentation, participants were able to choose from an abundance of scrapbook material (background) to create their own scrapbook page.

An audience participant gets to work on her scrapbook page.

Following the program, a scrapbook was raffled off to a lucky audience member.
