JoAnn Allen, library associate for juvenile programs in the African American
Resource Center, makes a presentation to summer campers on the famous African American
dancer, Katherine Dunham.
Students listen attentively as Allen tells them about Dunham's influence on dance.
Following Allen's presentation, students from Berean Headstart, Cops for Kids, Tambourine and Fan and St. John Community Center were treated to a dance performance by Show Stoppers, a hip hop dance group.
