Biographical Sketch of Marc H. Morial
Marc Haydel Morial became mayor in May, 1994. He was reelected in 1998 and served until the inauguration of C. Ray Nagin in May, 2002.

Scope and Contents of the Records
The City Archives received approximately 700 cu. ft. of records during the last days of the Marc H. Morial administration. Included were records of the various divisions within the Mayor's Office along with records of the Chief Administrative Office and records of the Finance, Health, Property Management, Police, and Parkways Departments. Individual record series will be added to this web site and will be available to researchers as arrangement and description is completed.
