Beginning with the Alvar and Children’s branch renovations, the NOPL Foundation is leading the drive to rebuild New Orleans’ libraries better than before. The Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose trustees include the NOPL Board of Directors.

A separate 501c3 non-profit organization, the Friends’ used-book sales and other fundraising activities have “made the difference” in funding NOPL’s educational programs and special projects for many years.
